Raccoon Madness!
Raccoon Madness!

We bought this toy for Capone Dog and I have to say, I don’t remember the last time I have been so incredibly entertained for $4.99.

I don’t know that this toy looks exactly like a Raccoon, but it does resemble a small, wild animal from a short distance away or from the corner of your eye. It has managed to scare me at least half a dozen times and every person that has come to visit in the last two weeks has jumped, squealed or stepped back when it came into their line of sight.

Capone has a habit of ripping all the fuzz out of his new toys. He hasn’t completely deflated this one yet, but the spots that he licks and chews, looks like a successful wound with the ‘fur’ matted down from his saliva. It causes quite the fright when it is spotted laying on the floor, or in the yard, broken and wounded looking.

What fun!

It is amazing what joy $4.99 will bring a dog!! Max like Capone has always had this thing for ripping out the stuffing out of all of his toys! Until he got his duck!!! Don’t know what it is but he loves his duck. He often will take it for walks with him and on his much loved car rides. He also has the fur matted with his constant cleaning of his duck (it thank goodness is washable). I am hoping Capone has found his true friend!!

I am also glad to hear you are all 3 doing well!! It sounds like a great place where you have settled for at least awhile. You are in my thoughts and I always look forward to your posts!!

Looks like an aardvark/raccoon hybrid if you ask me. And I could see why people would be freaked out.

Our dogs don’t play with toys. They just like to run around, lay around, and generally act like lazy disinterested people.

Oh, and I’m likely going to be coming for a brief visit at the beginning of November. I’m visiting my Dad at the end of October who will be visiting my brother in Las Vegas. And I can get that time off from the theater, I will likely be able another 5 days or so off at the beginning of November. I will keep you posted!
